Welcome!
Rebecca McNair,
RN, CEN President, Triage First, Inc. Welcome to the first edition of the Triage First quarterly newsletter! It has been our desire for several years to be able to offer an ongoing educational resource to the emergency nurses who attend Triage First courses. Our goal is to provide up-to-date and relevant information, which will aid in our twofold mission of: (1) helping professionals working in emergency departments to develop a consistent, compassionate, and healthy approach from which to practice; and, (2) to provide ED professionals with the tools necessary to understand the conceptual and clinical aspects of emergency care. You may sign up for this free Triage First newsletter by visiting the Triage First website at www.triagefirst.com. Here are some items you can expect to see in our newsletters each quarter: • Case presentations • Current literature/research • Answers to your questions • Triage First educational opportunities and products This newsletter is here to benefit you in your nursing practice, so please feel free to make suggestions and to submit questions or cases that may be of interest to other emergency nurses.
